Sadly, summer is now over. Hope you all had a nice summer. The Nomberglers have been up to their usual fun. Now it's time to move on to bigger and better things. Sid starts her sophomore year at BSC. Em is now a junior at Altamont. I am still The Mayor of Nap City. LYB is about to take over at STV. (They just don't know it yet.) Here are some photographic highlights of the past few months.
Back in January, Em joined a travel lacrosse team, XTEAM, a Brooklyn based program designed to take her to the next level. 40 new teammates and friends from all over the country, this team played this summer in tournaments in Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia and Pennsylvania. They also toured and worked out at several universities. Great coaching and exposure to college programs. Several teammates have already committed to play at big-time programs. More exciting plans for the fall and winter with training and recruiting tournaments in Colorado, Orlando, Chicago, Baltimore and SoCal.
For the next two months Em will work on speed and agility training, followed by preseason hoops training. And studying. And BBYO. And ACT. And sleep? Sid will be busy with narrowing down her major/minor studies, AOII, and working at The Pants Store. Barons are fighting for a playoff birth. MLB playoffs are shaping up. Thankfully college football kicks off in two weeks. All is good in the Magic City. More in the upcoming weeks.
Have a great week everyone.
