Happy New Year! Check out our buddy, Mack, blowing a shofar, in a B'ham News photo this past week.
Adam Weil, playing center in photo below, anchored a somewhat porous O-line in a recent 5th graders game against the Steelers. In a not-so-close one, Adam's Redskins played valiantly in the loss. It's tough to win when your top players are not in a lineup that featured only eleven players. The Redskins look to rebound this week.
Not much to report about Emmy's softball season as rain continues to fall throughout the metro area. Hopefully the fields will dry off in time for some action next weekend. She is itching to take the mound and start mowing down some batters.
Sid's hoops season starts in a few weeks. Jessye and she will lead a team that must fill the void of three starters who moved up to the JV this fall. The season will be more challenging and should provide for some exciting games.
Here is a video of a very cool moment of sportsmanship in high school football. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ylwXOxKb7I
Stay dry and have a great week!
